ProfitPeak is a cognitive commerce platform designed for Shopify brands to optimize their business outcomes using advanced AI technology. With operations across Sydney, Kuala Lumpur and Los Angeles to service our growing list of international brands. We are a Seed-Series A venture funded startup with serial entrepreneur founders who have had prior successful exits.

What You'll Do:

• Design and ship robust, production-grade TypeScript and Node.js services that power core product features
• Build and iterate on AI-integrated workflows — from prompt engineering and LLM orchestration to agentic pipelines and structured outputs
• Own features end-to-end: architecture decisions, implementation, code review, and production monitoring
• Collaborate closely with product and design to translate complex customer problems into elegant, scalable solutions
• Raise the engineering bar through thoughtful code reviews, documentation, and technical mentorshipHelp define how we build — shaping our technical roadmap, patterns, and culture as we scale

About You:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep React, TypeScript and Node.js expertise
• Strong fundamentals in API design, data modelling, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) into production applications
• A bias toward shipping — you move quickly, take ownership, and don't wait to be told what to do
• Comfort with ambiguity — you can take a loosely defined problem, ask the right questions, and drive toward a solution
• Clear communicator who writes as well as they code
