The Role
We're looking for a hungry, relentless Account Executive to join our Sydney team. Let's be straight: 90% of this role is outbound. Cold calling, cold emailing, building sequences, getting in front of people who don't know us yet, and convincing them they need to. If that excites you, read on. If you're waiting for inbound leads to land in your lap, this isn't the role for you. It's hard work, it's fast-paced, and for the right person it's a career-defining opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Own outbound pipeline generation — cold calling, cold emailing, and multi-channel sequencing are your primary activities every single day.
- Use tools like Instantly and Clay to build and execute outbound campaigns at scale.
- Own and manage your account list in HubSpot — clean data, accurate pipeline, no excuses.
- Support customer success with effective handover for onboarding and continued success.
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Actively look for ways to automate and improve your own workflows using AI tools — we expect you to work smarter, not just harder.
- Roll up your sleeves and do what's needed. Early-stage means wearing multiple hats.
About You
- You love the phone. Cold calling doesn't faze you — it energises you. You're comfortable making a high volume of calls daily and you know how to open a conversation with someone who wasn't expecting to hear from you.
- You're a natural at cold outbound — you understand how to build a list, craft a sequence, test a message, and iterate until it lands.
- 1–3 years in a closing sales role, ideally in B2B SaaS (Martech, eCommerce, inventory, or analytics a strong plus).
- You're genuinely excited about AI tools and use them to get more done — not as a novelty, but as a real part of how you work.
- You know your way around HubSpot and keep it pristine. CRM hygiene isn't an afterthought for you.
- Experience with outbound tools like Instantly and Clay is a strong advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication — you can engage a CMO and a ecommerce coordinator with equal confidence.
- You thrive in ambiguity and take ownership without waiting to be told what to do.
