Job Description
As Head of Service Delivery, you will lead our global operations function, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of background verification checks for clients across multiple regions. You will oversee daily operations, managing remote teams primarily across India and APAC, and driving operational excellence through strong processes, systems, and leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations of the Service Delivery department, running daily stand-ups with team leads to track productivity, resolve bottlenecks, and manage capacity.
- Defining and maintaining SOPs to ensure consistent turnaround times and high levels of accuracy across all check types and geographies.
- Owning operational reporting across daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles, providing clear metrics on performance, productivity, and work in progress.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice standards in all operational and administrative processes.
- Managing departmental budgets, capacity planning, and resourcing to meet client demand while improving efficiency and margins.
- Contributing to platform and process innovation by identifying opportunities for automation, AI, and system integrations.
- Building, coaching, and developing a high-performing team, cultivating a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Acting as a trusted leader and collaborator across the organisation, ensuring the Service Delivery strategy aligns with broader company goals.
Qualifications
We are seeking a proven operations leader with strong experience managing global service delivery functions in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational excellence and bring a people-first approach to leadership.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant leadership experience in operations, service delivery, or a related function, ideally in background screening, or similar compliance-driven industries.
- Demonstrated success managing and scaling large, remote teams across multiple regions.
- Strong expertise in operational process design, SOP development, and performance management systems.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, capacity planning, and resourcing effectively.
- A track record of delivering continuous improvement through automation, vendor management, and technology-driven solutions.
- Strong communication, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to foster an inclusive, accountable, and high-performance team culture.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance strategic priorities and operational demands.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to service delivery in global markets.
