Job Description

Role Overview

As the Compensation and Benefits Specialist, you will support the design, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefits programs, with a primary focus on delivering these programs across the EMEA and APAC regions.

You will partner closely with the Finance, Payroll, and external vendors to ensure programs are competitive, compliant, and executed consistently. This individual contributor role blends program support with hands-on regional delivery, requiring strong analytical capability, market expertise, compliance awareness, and collaborative partnership across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, enhancement, and rollout of compensation philosophy, and benefits harmonization programs, policies, and procedures.

  • Proactively conduct market research and contribute analytical insights to design discussions.

  • Recommend enhancements based on emerging global and regional trends, regulatory requirements, and benchmarking insights.

  • Support global compensation team in administrating base compensation, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, and recognition programs.

  • Support annual compensation cycles including merit, bonus, and equity planning activities.

  • Prepare reports, analytics, dashboards, modeling, and presentations.

  • Partner with various internal key stakeholders on job evaluations, salary range placement, offer construction, and internal equity analysis.

  • Ensure compensation programs comply with local employment laws, statutory requirements, and internal governance standards.

  • Support audits, and documentation related to compensation programs

  • Conduct compensation benchmarking using regional market surveys to ensure competitive salary ranges and job structures.

  • Monitor market trend, pay transparency, equal pay, and other regulatory change requirements in EMEA and APAC, and assess the impact on compensation practices.

  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the leadership team

Payroll and Reports

  • Liaise and work with payroll vendor on system management, and ensure timely and accurate processing and payment

  • Monitor any off-cycle payments, probation confirmation, Part-time/Term contract status, and update payroll and relevant teams

  • Prepare reports, including monthly local and global headcount reports, and turnover reports for management reviews

  • Ensure Data Accuracy and Compliance in HRIS and employee records

  • Promote a positive work environment through employee initiatives and to create a holistic employee experience

  • Assist with required reports, ad-hoc reports, organization chart updates and requests

  • Handle statutory reporting and coordinate with external vendors/government bodies when needed

  • Payroll reconciliation to ensure proper cost center allocations and cost allocations

  • Billing/Invoicing reconciliation

  • Serve as payroll backup for our Philippine payroll team

Others

  • Monitor vendor management based on Service level agreement (SLA), raise POs, validate invoices for processing, and oversee the renewal/non-renewal of agreements

  • Participate in HR projects/initiatives and provide support in tasks as assigned, e.g. Payroll project

  • Serves as back up to team member(s) in area(s) as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and/or benefits program management; multi-region benefits experience strongly preferred.

  • Familiar with Deel platform is an advantage

  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations and compliance requirements across APAC and EMEA

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using benchmarking data and compensation/benefits analytics.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to simplify complex Total Rewards concepts.

  • High level of integrity and ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
